וַתֹּאמֶר֩ יִזְכָּר־נָ֨א הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ מהרבית [מֵהַרְבַּ֞ת] גֹּאֵ֤ל הַדָּם֙ לְשַׁחֵ֔ת וְלֹ֥א יַשְׁמִ֖ידוּ אֶת־בְּנִ֑י וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חַי־יְהוָ֔ה אִם־יִפֹּ֛ל מִשַּׂעֲרַ֥ת בְּנֵ֖ךְ אָֽרְצָה׃
Sie sprach darauf: Gedenke doch der König bei dem Herrn, deinem Gott, dass der Bluträcher nicht mehr Verderben stifte, dass sie meinen Sohn nicht vertilgen. Der [König] versprach: So wahr der Herr lebt, — ob eines von den Haaren deines Sohnes zur Erde fällt!
